Lotus made headlines in Forbes Under 30 and Exame Magazine as an example to be followed
On May 24, the construction and development company Lotus will celebrate its 4th anniversary since it was founded in the federal capital. Despite its short time in the market, the company has already become a reference as one of the most innovative construction companies in the real estate segment in the country.
In addition to creating trends through its signature projects, construction quality and technology used in its projects, Lotus is the first company 100% committed to good practices, not only related to safety, but also environmental, social and governance – grouped together by the acronym in English, ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance).
“We were born with the purpose of contributing to cities. And for us, doing things differently has always been much more than just building projects. Lotus has always sought to positively impact the lives of the people around us,” explains one of the company’s owners, Ruy Hernandez.
Together with his brother, Luiz Felipe Hernandez, they founded Lotus in 2018 and sought out references outside Brazil to invest in sustainability in all phases of the projects.
“At Lotus, nothing is wasted. With us, there is no such thing as throwing waste away when it comes to planet Earth. When constructing any project, whether residential or commercial, we follow production chain protocols to make the work organized and sustainable,” reinforces Luiz Felipe.
Lotus has residential and corporate projects in Brasília and also in Miami. Recently, one of the buildings, Lotus Corporate, was sold to the World Bank for being a reference in sustainability and meeting all international requirements for compliance and certification of good ESG practices.
Another project, 310 Lotus, is already considered by the specialized press as a reference in architecture for its modernist language with contemporary elements.
With an estimated annual revenue of R$310 million and accumulated VGV of 3.1 billion, the company already has 317,000 m² – 57,000 m² already built, 34,000 m² under construction and 256,000 m² pending approval.
The Hernandez brothers have 12 years of experience in the real estate market and have become a reference in entrepreneurship in the country. In 2021, they were cited by Forbes Under 30 Magazine as promising young Brazilians.
Exame Magazine also highlighted the company’s experience and reference in the Triple A concept – a category of corporate projects with the highest level of quality, construction standards and technology.
