25The Lotus Tower, one of the flagship developments by the construction company Lotus Cidade, was the setting for an important exchange of knowledge between academia and industry. The building welcomed around 40 Civil Engineering students from the University of Brasilia (UnB), who are enrolled in the geotechnics course taught by teacher André Brasil.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to practically understand the challenges and solutions applied in the execution of the geotechnical project for the Lotus Tower. The group was accompanied by teacher André Brasil and the geotechnical consultant for the site, Fernando Aquino, who shared their technical experiences and details of the innovative solutions adopted in the development.
This initiative reflects Lotus commitment to the dissemination of technical knowledge and strengthening ties with academia, encouraging the training of qualified future professionals in the civil construction sector.
