Lotus at the center of decision-making: Ruy Hernandez featured at the 6th Brasília Summit

On the morning of Wednesday (15), Lotus co-CEO Ruy Hernandez took part in the opening of the 6th Brasília Summit, an event organized by LIDE Nacional and LIDE Brasília, held at the iconic Brasília Palace Hotel in the federal capital.

LIDE is a private organization that brings together leading corporate figures from Brazil and abroad, with the aim of strengthening the free market and fostering economic and social development. Through debate forums and strategic events, the group promotes dialogue between the productive sector and the public sphere.

As one of the event’s sponsors—which gathered the country’s leading business figures and authorities to discuss pathways for economic growth—Lotus reinforced its role as a key player in the development of the federal capital.

In a moment of great sensitivity and inspiration, Ruy shared with the audience the foundation that underpins his leadership: the example of his mother, renowned tax attorney Fernanda Hernandez.

“She taught us the difference between right and wrong, the importance of character, and the need to work hard to achieve our goals,” Ruy emphasized.

In addition to presenting data and insights about the sector, the co-CEO highlighted the impressive figures that position Lotus at a new level of execution in Brazil:

● Expansion: projected growth to 3,000 employees next year.
● Strong portfolio: more than 250,000 m² under construction and landmark transactions involving headquarters for the World Bank, ApexBrasil, and the European Union.
● Corporate leadership: the Lotus Tower development, currently the largest private corporate construction project in Latin America, stands as a symbol of unwavering confidence in Brasília’s potential.

Participation in LIDE reaffirms Lotus’s commitment to transforming Brasília through architecture of global reference, combining bold entrepreneurship with responsibility toward the future of our city.
